How It Works
Ultherapy uses its patented real-time ultrasound imaging technology (DeepSee™) to visually identify the depth and structure of the patient’s skin. This allows high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy to be precisely delivered beneath the surface—at depths of 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm—targeting the SMAS layer without damaging the skin surface. The focused energy causes controlled coagulation and contraction of tissue. By delivering micro-focused heat at the optimal temperature range of 60–70°C to the exact depths within the skin, Ultherapy creates Thermal Coagulation Points (TCPs) in a uniform pattern. At these TCPs, collagen is coagulated, denatured, and contracted—resulting in an immediate lifting effect. Over time, the treated areas undergo natural regeneration, gradually tightening the skin and stimulating new collagen production. This ongoing process of collagen remodeling and regeneration helps achieve a long-lasting, natural-looking lifting and anti-aging effect.

Precautions
It is recommended to avoid peeling treatments and exfoliating products for one week after the procedure.
Gentle cleansing and light makeup are allowed, and using a mild, non-irritating cleanser is advised.

To prevent hyperpigmentation, be sure to apply moisturizer and sunscreen thoroughly after the treatment.
In rare cases, temporary marks (welts) from the treatment tip may appear, which typically subside within 1 to 2 weeks. If such symptoms occur, please consult the clinic.
Depending on the individual, temporary skin stinging, slight swelling, or redness may occur. They will naturally go away over time.
